John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats suffered an early exit in this year’s NCAA Tournament at the hands of Indiana, but the Hall of Fame coach is already looking to next season and even called Kentucky’s 2016 recruiting class his “best ever”
Calipari’s comments were posted to Twitter by ESPN’s Kaylee Hartung.
Calipari says he's sick for his players now but… has great group coming in next year "maybe the best ever"

Though it’s not even close to the start of next season yet, don’t be shocked if Calipari’s words prove to be true. Looking at the Class of 2016, Kentucky does have a ridiculous amount of talent coming in. As of now, per 247 Sports, the Wildcats have five five-star recruits set to arrive in Lexington next year: point guard De’Aaron Fox, guard Malik Monk and forwards Bam Adebayo, Wenyen Gabriel and Sacha Killyea-Jones. On paper, that’s a pretty insane class.
Throw in the possibility that guys like Jamal Murray and Tyler Ulis may decide to forego the NBA Draft this summer and stay in school (which they probably won’t), and Kentucky could be all kinds of dangerous in 2016-17.
