Sam Dekker takes Twitter troll to school

Houston Rockets rookie and former Wisconsin Badgers star Sam Dekker is very active on Twitter, so much that he doesn’t hesitate to shut down trolls when appropriate. Today was definitely one of those days.

Dekker was clearly watching today’s NCAA Tournament matchup between Villanova and Wisconsin’s Big Ten rival Iowa, and the Hawkeyes were blown out 87-68. Of course, Dekker took to Twitter and offered his remarks.

And someone then decided to troll Dekker, as follows.

@dekker remember when you lost in the championship game last year. Oh and the final four the year before. Lol

But Dekker was not having it today, not when he was basking in the glory of Iowa losing and his Badgers having a date with No. 2 Xavier later tonight. That said, Dekker did his best impression of Mark Wahlberg in The Departed and just royally dropped the mic before walking off the Twitter state.

It just goes to show you, folks. Never get into a Twitter war with Sam Dekker. You’ll live to regret it.
