Wisconsin bench tries to recreate buzzer beater

The Wisconsin Badgers pulled off an unbelievable upset over the Xavier Musketeers last weekend to get to the Sweet Sixteen for the third year in a row and the fifth time in the last six years. The win came off a last-second buzzer beater by Bronson Koenig.

The Badger bench players were pretty excited over the shot and they decided to have a little fun with it. On Sunday following the win, Matt Ferris and Aaron Moesch attempted to recreate the shot in front of an empty Kohl Center and failed miserably.

It did, however, make for a pretty funny video and showed that these guys have a great sense of humor, especially since they don’t see the floor very often.

The Badgers probably won’t be calling on Ferris to shoot any clutch three pointers anytime soon. However, Wisconsin does know that he is willing to do what he can if the issue ever arises.

For now, Greg Gard’s club is looking to pull off another big win and get to the Elite and possibly their third straight Final Four when they take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
