Dallas Cowboys getting closer look at Joey Bosa, Zeke Elliott

The Dallas Cowboys coaching staff is in Columbus to get a closer look at two key draft prospects in defensive end Joey Bosa and running back Ezekiel Elliott according to a tweet from Mark Pantoni, Ohio State’s director of player personnel.

This workout is significant for a couple of reasons, the most obvious being that Dallas owns the No. 4 pick in next month’s NFL Draft and will surely have either Bosa or Elliott available to them. In terms of who they should pick, that all depends on what hole Jerry Jones wants to fill first, defensive line or running back.

But it is also important to note that this workout at which the Cowboys staff is at features all 14 Ohio State players that were invited to last month’s NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. As a result, depending on what Jason Garrett and his staff think of the Buckeyes turning pro, Ohio State could break Miami’s record set in 2004, when six Hurricanes were taken in the first round of the NFL Draft.
