Oklahoma football releases ‘beat the Ducks’ hype video

-

The No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners take on the No. 1 Oregon Ducks tonight for a spot in the Final Four, and the Sooners’ football team took some time out of spring practice today to release a short hype video.

The video, which was posted to coach Bob Stoops’ Twitter, features star quarterback Baker Mayfield leading his teammates in a raucous chant of “Beat the Ducks!”

Check it out below!

Oklahoma’s football team certainly knows quite a bit about being in key games, having won the Big 12 title last season and also playing in the Orange Bowl semifinal against Clemson. Thus, given how tonight’s game is the biggest for Sooner basketball since the 2009 Elite Eight game against North Carolina, here’s hoping that star shooting guard Buddy Hield and his teammates can rally behind their football counterparts and turn in a performance of the ages with a trip to the Final Four in the line.

Tip-off is slated for 6:09 p.m. ET on CBS, so be sure to tune in.
