Braves to put in zip-line at new stadium

The sports world has been littered with fancy new innovations recently, especially concerning new stadiums being built all over the country. The Dallas Cowboys are planning to build a town around their new practice facility and the new Minnesota Vikings stadium will include a 2,000 square-foot curved LED video board modeled to look like a sail on a ship.

The Atlanta Braves are the most recent team to incorporate a crazy new idea into their stadium. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, SunTrust Park will include a zip line.

“For now, the Braves are releasing few details about the attraction, but the Zip Line would most likely be behind the ballpark’s video board and take people from one side of the concourse to the other, ” said the Chronicle.

No other information has been released regarding the semantics of the attraction but it’s definitely an original idea. Although, it may not be a great idea to have fans flying through the air while foul balls are flying.
