Buddy Hield gets SI cover leading up to Final Four

Buddy Hield added another gem to his already historic and impressive résumé today as he was given a spot on the cover of Sports Illustrated for the second time this season.

Oklahoma has been led by the incredible tournament efforts of Hield all the way to Houston for the Final Four that included a near-perfect 37 point effort from their Senior leader on Saturday night in their victory of No. 1- seed Oregon.

And of course, it was only fitting for a dominant performance by number 24 to be greeted by Kobe Bryant himself following the victory.

Hield’s Sports Illustrated cover will be regionally distributed and can be picked up in Oklahoma, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas and Louisiana. Tiger Woods takes over the national cover spot.

Oklahoma will square off with fellow No. 2 Villanova on Saturday night to kick of the Final Four weekend, the game is set to start at 6:09 PM EST. The winner will face the winner of UNC-Syracuse on Monday night.
