As you may have heard, the Los Angeles Lakers’ locker room is going through a bit of turmoil after a video D’Angelo Russell took of Nick Young admitting to cheating on his girlfriend, Iggy Azalea, was leaked to a gossip site and posted on Twitter.
Recently, Stephen A. Smith had more than a few words to say about Russell regarding the matter during his usual appearance on ESPN First Take. Smith gave viewers more than a piece of his mind about Russell, saying,
“He’ll never be trusted ever again. This will stay with him for the rest of his career,” and “As a man, you don’t do that. Under no circumstances do you infiltrate yourself into somebody else’s business,” and that “He is completely untrustworthy, incredibly immature. It was a juvenile punkish move of the highest order.”
He also encouraged the Lakers to think about trading Russell and even said that Russell’s agent should think about dropping him.
No official word regarding the Russell/Young situation has surfaced from the Lakers, Russell or Young thus far.
