Trey Lewis, Damion Lee attended Final Four

Former Louisville stars Trey Lewis and Damion Lee were in attendance at the Final Four at Houston’s NRG Stadium last night, and Lewis posted a picture of himself and his friend and former teammate to Instagram.

In the picture, Lewis implied that Louisville should have been competing in the Final Four.

We should still be playing, but at least we in the building! #FinalFour

Louisville went 23-8 (12-6 ACC) on the season and looked incredibly strong at times, and Lee leading the Cardinals in scoring made it look like coach Rick Pitino’s team could indeed make the Final Four after just barely missing it last year. Unfortunately, with the NCAA looking into a prostitution scandal that has rocked the campus since before the start of the season, Louisville opted to ban itself from any and all postseason play.

As a result, graduate transfers Lee and Lewis ended their collegiate careers with no NCAA Tournament trip after transferring to Louisville from Drexel and Cleveland State respectively just for a shot at a championship.

What do you think, fans? Would Louisville have made the Final Four this year were it not for the postseason ban? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below!
