Atlanta Falcons star wide receiver Julio Jones returned to his alma mater Alabama yesterday to watch spring practice. Pictures of Jones taking in the action were posted to Twitter by the university.

Jones starred for the Crimson Tide for three seasons, winning a national championship with them in 2010. He had 179 receptions for 2,653 yards and 15 touchdowns during his Alabama tenure and was selected by Atlanta with the sixth overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.
He has since become one of the NFL’s best wide receivers and has been named to three Pro Bowls, and also led the NFL in receiving las season.
And it’s great to see that Jones has not forgotten where it all started. He is under no obligation to give anything back to the university, let alone watch a spring practice, so this is truly a testament to how much the university means to Jones and vice versa.
