The Nebraska Cornhuskers are going through a rebuilding period. After firing infamous head coach Bo Pelini and hiring new head coach Mike Riley, the Huskers are expecting to turn around their football program, soon.
They suffered a disappointing 2015, despite the general approval of Riley. They managed to scrape a bowl game and performed well against UCLA. Now, the Huskers are looking toward the 2016 season with high hopes.
Nebraska released a hype video today, highlighting the team’s offensive progress heading into the new season. In the video, Mike Riley makes it clear that he has high expectations for his offensive line this year.
The Huskers will play their spring game on April 16th.
Despite this emphasis on the Huskers offense, Nebraska finished 34th overall in offense in the FBS for 2015.
Though the defensive line is extremely popular among fans, they’ll need to put in just as much work as the offense if the Huskers want to improve their record in 2016.
The Huskers finished 6-7 in 2015, and 3-5 in the Big 10.
