Former UCLA star linebacker Myles Jack is visiting with the San Francisco 49ers this weekend, according to a tweet from NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.
This is #49ers predraft visit weekend, so big names'll be in town. Like #UCLA's Myles Jack, who visited #Jags, #Ravens, & #Falcons this week

San Francisco owns the No. 7 pick in the NFL Draft later this month and Jack could definitely still be available by the time the Niners’ turn comes around. The 49ers could definitely use some help at linebacker alongside NaVorro Bowman, who led the NFL in tackles last year, and adding Jack could immediately boost a defense that finished 29th in the league last season.
But at the same time, Jack being available at No. 7 is far from guaranteed. After leaving UCLA with 178 tackles, four interceptions and 19 pass breakups to his name, he is definitely in line to be a potential Top 5 pick despite missing all but three games of the 2015 season due to a knee injury.
Still, anything is possible when it comes to the NFL Draft. Stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates from Jack’s path to the pros!
