Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala and his teammates are on the verge of making NBA history, as they’ll set a new record for wins in a season should they win their final two regular season games, but Iguodala’s mind isn’t on that.
According to a tweet from Ethan Strauss of ESPN, Iguodala doesn’t care one bit if Golden State breaks the record.
Iguodala, on whether he found himself caring about 73 as it was slipping away: "Nah. Not at all."

Though some may get up in arms about Iguodala not caring about the record, pump the brakes. Keep in mind that the Warriors this year came back looking stronger than ever after winning 67 games last season, and they’re already at 71 this year. The only other team to do that in NBA history was the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls, who went 72-10, so Golden State is already in some significant company.
That all being said, the wins record is peanuts compared to what Iguodala and the rest of his teammates clearly value more: another NBA Championship.
