Florida fans charged with raiding Gators locker room, stealing jerseys

Every so often, hardcore fandom goes a bit too far. A trio of Florida Gators fans learned that the hard way when on Friday, just a few hours before the Gators’ spring game at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, they were arrested and charged with “felony-level burglary and theft” after breaking into the locker room and stealing jerseys valued at $200 apiece.

News of the arrests was reported by Cindy Swirko of The Gainesville Sun.

The three perpetrators were the following: Reagan Harrison Dean, 21, and Jeremy Bruce Agee, 24, both of Ocala, and Stephen Paul Collazo, 35, of Gainesville. All three men were seen on surveillance video leaving the locker room, but were not identified as suspects that way, per sources.

A university spokeswoman also stated that none of the men were associated with the school in any way.

No word has been given on how the trio got into the locker room, nor what consequences they could be facing, but stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates!
