Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey is still at the top of the Dallas Cowboys’ NFL Draft board, according to DraftInsider.
Per the report, the Cowboys’ stance on Ramsey has not changed since February and he is still their top target with the No. 4 overall pick. Also on their board is quarterback Carson Wentz and Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott.
But Ramsey is far from guaranteed to be available once Dallas makes their pick. The Tennessee Titans have made their interest in the cornerback/safety hybrid known and are far from guaranteed to draft Ole Miss tackle Laremy Tunsil with the first overall pick later this month, so there’s every possibility that Ramsey could be the first man off the board and Dallas will have to go with Plan B.
Still, there’s no doubt how great a fit Ramsey would be on a Dallas team that needs a lot of help in the secondary, so stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates on the former Seminole’s path to the NFL!
