Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said to reporters today that running back Drake Johnson’s accident, in which the rising senior was run over by a forklift while exercising, was nearly fatal and “would have killed a lesser man,” according to Nick Baumgardner of MLive.
Harbaugh on Drake Johnson: "He's doing well. I can tell you this: It would've killed a lesser man. He is blue-twisted steel."

Jim Harbaugh on Drake Johnson's accident and he wasn't significantly injured. "It's a miracle, right up there with Easter."

Getting run over by anything is scary, especially a forklift, so one can only imagine what could have happened to Johnson. He has since stated that he is OK, but can definitely go down in history as one of the players who got injured in one of the most bizarre fashions.
In terms of Harbaugh’s comments, interesting choice of words. Johnson is definitely a better athlete then most people, but to say that anyone not on his Adonis-like pedestal of athleticism is a “lesser man?”
Come on now, Jim. You’re better than that.
