Class of 2017 four-star athlete Isaiah Robertson has committed to Notre Dame, according to a post on his Twitter.

Robertson, who currently plays safety and wide receiver at Neuqua Valley High School in the Chicago area, chose Notre Dame over a number of programs including Iowa, Penn State, Maryland, Wisconsin and Cincinnati, among many others.
But as Robertson said, he wanted a program that would allow him to be “a successful man without the game of football,” which is great because it clearly means he has a great head on his shoulders. It is a sign that he will be fully committed both on the field and in the classroom, something that will only add to his value as a player regardless of which position he is playing.
