Oklahoma State running back Raymond Taylor, who ranked third on the Cowboys with 297 yards and four touchdowns, is no longer on the roster according to The Tulsa World.
Along with Taylor, offensive lineman Paul Lewis and safety Tre Roberts are also no longer on Oklahoma State’s roster. No reason was given for their departures, but it probably had something to do with the fact that the Cowboys are loaded at running back. Not only are Chris Carson and Rennie Childs set to return, but graduate transfer Barry Sanders Jr. is also set to join the team next year and given his father’s status with the program, he should be in line for significant playing time.
The good news is that Taylor impressed enough as a walk-on last season that he shouldn’t have a problem finding a new team willing to take him on. Stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates on this story!
