Buffalo Bills GM Doug Whaley manages a team that could use some help at quarterback and appearing on a local radio show, he did not rule out the prospect of trading for the No. 2 pick that the Cleveland Browns are allegedly shopping.
Per a tweet from Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News, Whaley appears open to making a deal with Cleveland.

Granted, Buffalo already has Tyrod Taylor ready, willing and able to play quarterback next year, but he is set to hit free agency after the 2016 season. Given how the Los Angeles Rams traded up to the No. 1 pick to take a quarterback and reportedly favor California’s Jared Goff, the Browns’ top target, Whaley would indeed be wise to call Cleveland GM Sashi Brown and at least attempt to work out a deal.
There’s still a week left until the NFL Draft, however, so stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates from the path!
