The Baltimore Ravens may have just drafted one of the most under-the-radar talents in the 2016 NFL Draft class after snagging Navy’s Keenan Reynolds in the sixth round this afternoon.
Reynolds played quarterback at Navy and excelled as a dual-threat, but is expected to move to receiver on the NFL level. Regardless of where he plays, he is first obligated to some military service for the Navy and may not see an NFL field for at least a couple of years depending on what arrangement is worked out.
Just the same, there’s no doubt that Baltimore just landed a player who could wind up being an incredible fit. Reynolds has an FBS-record 88 career touchdowns and rushed for 4,459 yards in four years with the Midshipmen. Last year, he was instrumental in leading Navy to a Military Bowl win over Pittsburgh.
