Alabama’s Alphonse Taylor blasts Tom Brokaw over commencement comments

Over the weekend, legendary NBC news anchor Tom Brokaw delivered the commencement speech at Ole Miss. During his time at the podium, Brokaw took an opportunity to take a shot at the University of Alabama.

After Brokaw made his comments, they quickly became public.

Now, members of the Alabama football team are catching wind of the speech and offensive lineman Alphonse Taylor has been one of the most outspoken.

Taylor blasted both Ole Miss and Tom Brokaw in a long Twitter rant.

Well, Alphonse Taylor isn’t messing around.

It’s unfortunate that Taylor took the comments so personally because Brokaw was clearly just making a joke and playing to the crowd, but hey, don’t mess with Alabama.
