Report: Lakers ‘enamored’ with point guard Kris Dunn

The Los Angeles Lakers enter Tuesday night’s NBA Draft Lottery with a strong chance at landing one of the top three picks in the 2016 NBA Draft. According to reports, they could already be eyeing a certain prospect if they land the No. 3 pick.

With the No. 3 pick, the Lakers would likely be out of the running for LSU star Ben Simmons or Duke’s Brandon Ingram, so who could they turn to?

If the latest buzz is to be believed, the Lakers could be targeting former Providence star Kris Dunn.

ESPN’s Marc Spears shared the news.

Considering the Lakers already have D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson on the roster, it is certainly a puzzling report. If anything, this seems like an agent driven report or a simple smokescreen.

Of course, if the Lakers land one of the top two picks, the report could turn out to be meaningless.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
