Baylor contacted by NCAA, will cooperate

|

The Baylor Bears pretty much solidified their future with the NCAA on Thursday when they fired head football coach Art Briles. The NCAA wasted little time in contacting the Bears, but it will certainly help that the school will cooperate with the association.

FOX Sports’ Bruce Feldman reported that the NCAA had called Baylor and it is likely that the team will be getting some kind of punishment ahead of the 2016 college football season.

It will certainly be interesting to see what happens with Baylor in the coming weeks.

With the penalties the NCAA slapped on the Penn State Nittany Lions for something that happened over 40 years ago, I wouldn’t be surprised to see something even worse happen to the Bears.
