Jacob Eason wins accuracy competition at Steve Clarkson QB Retreat

In 2015, the Georgia Bulldogs had a pretty terrible quarterback situation. However, things certainly seem to be much different this year with true freshman Jacob Eason looking to take over the starting job.

Eason seemed to impress while attending the Steve Clarkson Quarterback Retreat in California this weekend. On Monday afternoon, it was reported that he won an accuracy competition, beating out players like Davis Webb, Deshaun Watson and Josh Rosen.

This event features some of the best quarterbacks from around the country and it is a pretty big deal for Eason to win this competition. It certainly bodes well for the Bulldogs, who are under new leadership on the offense with offensive coordinator Jim Chaney in place.

Jacob Eason still has to beat out Greyson Lambert, who seems to be the incumbent starter, and Brice Ramsey. This might be pretty easy to do after the inconsistent play at the position last year.
