Ex-Stanford swimmer Brock Turner expected to leave jail 2 months early

The gross injustice from the rape case involving former Stanford swimmer Brock Turner has taken another disappointing, disgusting turn. After receiving a slap-on-the-wrist sentence of six-month for raping an unconscious woman on campus, it is now being reported that Turner could leave jail up to two months early.

According to the Associate Press, is expected to be released from the Santa Clara County jail on Sept. 2

That is because county jail inmates serve 50 percent of their sentences if they keep a clean disciplinary record.

There has already been outrage surrounding the case because of the stunningly light sentence. Prosecutors had asked for six-years, but Turner was only sentenced to six months with three years of probation.

If there was already outrage over the light sentence, the fact that he will get out two months early will only add fuel to the fire.

And rightfully so.
