On Saturday night, the UFC returns to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with UFC Fight Night 89: MacDonald vs. Thompson. The event takes place at The Arena at TD Place, with live coverage on FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2 and UFC Fight Pass.
In the main event, welterweight standouts Rory MacDonald and Stephen Thompson go toe-to-toe with the winner earning a potential title shot.
Before the bouts could take place, official weigh-ins were held. After the weigh-ins on Friday afternoon, all of the bouts for tomorrow are official. Every fighter on the main card successfully made weight, while just one preliminary card participant, Randa Markos, narrowly missed weight and will be forced to forfeit 20 percent of her purse to her opponent, Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger.
