The college football career of wide receiver Robbie Rhodes has hit another road block.
After being dismissed from the Baylor Bears following a marijuana arrest, Rhodes was expected to become a key player for Bowling Green. However, he has now been dismissed from a second program for the always deadly “violation of team rules.”
There is no word on what led to Rhodes’ departure from his second program.
Rhodes played in seven games for the Falcons, after playing in 10 games as a true freshman before leaving Baylor. Last season, Rhodes hauled in three passes for 130 yards and a score. He also returned seven kickoffs for 113 yards.
Whether Rhodes gets another opportunity at the collegiate level remains to be seen, but if he does, he will have a lot of work to do in order to gain the trust of another coaching staff.
