Five-star Alabama freshman linebacker Lyndell Wilson’s career hasn’t even started and he has already went under the knife more times than some veterans. He will undergo surgery to repair a small tear in his meniscus.
Back in March, Wilson underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder. He announced on Tuesday in a tweet, that has since been deleted, that the surgery would happen on Tuesday. He followed that tweet up with one that seemed to let everyone know that he is going to be fine, regardless of what he has to go through.
I'll be back don't sleep on me 💯🙏🏾 #SpeedyRecovery

The Crimson Tide has yet to comment on the Lyndell Wilson’s status or his newest surgery. There has also been no exact timetable given for his return, but the freshman seems confident he will be back in time to help his team this year.
When he signed with Alabama back in February, Wilson was the No. 4 outside linebacker in the country and the No. 3 player in the state of Alabama.
The Crimson Tide open the season on Sept. 3 against the USC Trojans at AT&T Stadium.
