Baylor’s loss is the Texas Longhorns’ gain as the team has landed another former signee from their in-state Big 12 rival. It was reported on Wednesday morning that four-star offensive lineman Patrick Hudson had committed to Texas.
Rival.com’s Jason Schumel reported the news early Wednesday morning and it is a huge get for the Longhorns. Hudson later took to Twitter and thanked everyone for their support, but gave no indication where he would land for his collegiate career.

S/o to all of my close friends and family members for supporting me during this process, God is good.

Patrick Hudson joins fellow four-star lineman JP Urquidez and wide receivers Devin Duvernay and Donovan Duvernay as the fourth former Bear to take his talents to Austin. The Longhorns have certainly benefited from the firing of former Baylor head coach Art Briles.
It is certainly going to be interesting when the Longhorns and Bears take on each other on Saturday, Oct. 29.
