The Georgia Bulldogs offensive backfield is ready for the return of star running back Nick Chubb, who suffered a devastating knee injury a year ago, but now they have to worry about depth following an injury to Sony Michel.
According to the university, Michel suffered a broken left forearm and underwent surgery on Monday.
There is no timetable for his return and UGA is expected to reveal more information tomorrow.

If Michel is forced to miss any significant time, it is a major blow to the Bulldogs backfield.
Last season as a sophomore, Michel rushed for an impressive 1,161 yards and 8 touchdowns. He added 26 receptions for 270 yards and an additional three scores.
The Bulldogs will be hoping Michel’s recovery goes smoothly and he is able to suit up in time for the season-opener against the North Carolina Tar Heels on Sept. 3 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
