The LSU Tigers are looking to be one of the best teams in the country for the 2016 college football season and they should contend for a national championship. Running back and Heisman Trophy favorite Leonard Fournette seems to have a pretty big goal for his team this year.
While you would think a personal goal for an athlete the caliber of Fournette would be to win the most prestigious individual award in college football, he is putting his team first. He said he wants to bring a national title to Baton Rouge this year.
Fournette: "My personal goal is to win the national championship, nothing less."

Right now, the Tigers have the fifth best odds to win the national title, behind Alabama, Clemson, Michigan and Ohio State. It isn’t too crazy to believe that they could get to the College Football Playoff and possibly win their first national title since 2007.
Leonard Fournette was a huge part of the Tigers’ success last year as he rushed for a school record 1,953 yards and 22 touchdowns. He will is looking to be a big part of their success this year.
