During SEC Media Days, Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban delivered some strong praise to the Clemson Tigers, who finished last seasons as the national runners-up while Alabama hoisted the national championship trophy.
According to Saban, Clemson and Dabo Swinney should enter the 2016 college football season as the No. 1 team in the nation.
A large part of Saban’s praise was directed at star quarterback Deshaun Watson.
On Monday, Swinney was asked about Saban’s high praise and delivered exactly the light-hearted, hilarious response that we’ve come to expect from Dabo.
“I appreciate Coach Saban talking about us as No. 1 (going into 2016),” Swinney said. “But that is like Bill Gates talking about someone else’s wealth.”

While Clemson and Alabama will have to wait to see whether they have an opportunity to meet on the field in a high stakes game for the second consecutive season, we’ll have to just sit back and enjoy the countless quotes that will continue to fly from Swinney’s mouth throughout the year.
