It’s that time of year again where college football analysts are sharing their predictions for the upcoming season. With those predictions come some bold statements that create some serious backlash from fans.
Just ask Tim Brando of FOX Sports.
On Monday, Brando took to social media to share his final top 25 projections for 2016. While it wasn’t surprising that Alabama was not in the No. 1 spot, it was a bit surprise that Brando had the Crimson Tide projected as the No. 5 team in the nation.
My pre-TOP 10. 1)Clemson 2)OU 3)Michigan 4)LSU 5)Bama 6)FSU 7)Tennessee 8)Washington 9)Ohio St. 10)Michigan St. Houston could crash party!

This is my final preseason poll. Ill only adjust after week 1 of the season. Remember, my picks are projected finishes, not a starting grid.

Brando fielded some questions after making his projections and that is when his boldest prediction came.
Why is Alabama No. 5? Well, according to Brando, the Crimson Tide should drop “a minimum” of two games throughout the season. Yikes, that’s not a glowing endorsement for the defending champs.
[email protected] all have been answered previously. Not going down that road again but will say Bama loses a minimum of two games.

Will it happen? Recent history would suggest Nick Saban finds a way to get his team to compete for a national title. However, if the Crimson Tide do struggle in 2016, you can expect to see Mr. Brando sending out a few “I told so” messages.
