Alabama, Clemson top AP preseason Top 25


We are just two weeks away from the start of the 2016 college football season and the Associated Press has released its first Top 25 of the season. The AP released it Sunday morning and the two teams that played for the national championship last season have topped the preseason poll.

The Alabama Crimson Tide and Clemson Tigers played one of the college football championship games in recent history earlier this year and they look to be the favorites once again this season and they are both No. 1 and 2 respectively.

Oklahoma, Florida State and LSU rounded out the top five with Ohio State, Michigan, Stanford, Tennessee and Notre Dame rounding out the top ten. The SEC led the poll with six total teams with the PAC-12 placing five teams, including the Baylor Bears.
