Oakland files trademark for ‘Las Vegas Raiders’

The Oakland Raiders have taken one step closer to a potential move to Las Vegas. It was reported on Thursday that the team has applied for the “Las Vegas Raiders” trademark.

The Raiders have already had multiple proposals for plots in the city drawn up over the last few months and it certainly seems like they are securing what they need to if they want to make the move.

Forbes shared a photo of the application on Thursday.

Earlier this year, US Senator Harry Reid expressed his support for there to be a domed NFL stadium built in the city in the future. That would certainly be an interesting situation for the Raiders to make if this were to the move.
