LSU fan starts fundraiser to meet Les Miles’s buyout

The LSU Tigers suffered a shocking loss to the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday, in a 16-14 defensive match-up at Lambeau Field. This was enough to anger Tiger fans everywhere and now it seems at least one is calling for head coach Les Miles’s head.

Andy Denicola decided to start a campaign to get Miles fired before the 2016 season is over. He has gone so far as to start a GoFundMe page to raise enough money to pay for the head coach’s buyout.

Here is what he had to say in his plea for money to get the coach out of Baton Rouge:

I am Andy Denicola and I have suffered through underperforming disappointing season after disappointing season under Les Miles. It’s time for a change. Les Miles is a hard-headed, stubborn, unimaginative, dips–t. He has taken a remarkably talented team and been out coached, out schemed, under developed players and generally lead them to mediocrity over and over again.

Apparently our flagship university can’t afford to buy him out of his contract. So I figured if we raised the money then they wouldn’t have any excuse as to why we can’t fire him. In the likely event that LSU will not accept the funds raised here, all monies will be donated to the Louisiana flood relief effort. Thank you for your support.

In two days, he has raised $265 of the $1 million goal. Even if he reaches the goal, it is only a fraction of what would be needed to buy out Miles.

If the Tigers got rid of The Mad Hatter before the end of the 2017 season, they would owe him $12.9 million, which is part of the reason they ended up keeping him following the 2016 season.

Miles is 112-33 with two SEC championships and a national title in 11 years as the Tigers’ coach. However, the last few years have been disappointing for the team as they have failed to win 10 games the last two seasons.

It certainly seems like fans have had enough of Miles and they are ready for a change in Baton Rouge.
