Oklahoma DL Matt Dimon, Austin Roberts suspended

The Oklahoma Sooners look to bounce back from a tough season opening loss against last Saturday and they host the Louisiana-Monroe WarHawks. However, they will do so without two defensive linemen after they were suspended.

It was reported by RufWriters.com that linemen Austin Roberts and Matt Dimon would be suspended for the game today. Coach Bob Stoops said that the two violated team rules.

Roberts is considered one of the most improved linemen on the team and had practiced with the scout team all week leading up to this game. Dimon started all 13 games for the Sooners in 2015 and recorded 34 tackles, 7.5 for loss, and 2.5 sacks.

The Sooners meet up with the WarHawks at 7 p.m. EST.
