On Sunday, Fox Sports posted a video to their YouTube account of Giants WR Victor Cruz reading letters sent to the Giants organization following the events of Sept. 11.

Letter after letter came in describing how much the Giants and their actions meant to those families who lost Giants fans to the tragedy.

The New York-based NFL team, along with the Jets, is obviously one of the most central to the impact of 9/11, having sent players to visit the families of those who perished, a gesture that’s remembered and appreciated by one of those who sent in a letter Cruz read.

Cruz and fellow Giants WR Odell Beckham, Jr. will be wearing patriotic cleats in their Week 1 debuts to pay tribute to the heroes of 9/11.

Cruz will be making his highly-anticipated return Sunday evening at 4:25 vs. the Dallas Cowboys, after suffering through two seasons of not being able to contribute to the team on the field.
