Derrick Henry gets more hazing in new Heisman House ad

ESPN has released its latest ad from the “Heisman House” campaign featuring former Alabama running back Derrick Henry, last year’s winner. Throughout the campaign, we have seen Henry receiving hazing as he familiarizes himself with the Heisman fraternity.

In the new ad, Henry is being show around the Heisman House by 1993 winner Charlie Ward, who starred at Florida State.

As the two players come up on the “Heisman House garage,” which is lined with luxury cars, former Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota makes an appearance. That’s when Mariota welcomes Henry to the house and passes the metaphorical torch by handing Henry supplies to wash all of the cars.

Coincidentally, Henry and Mariota — the two most recent Heisman winners — are now teammates on the Tennessee Titans.

The good news for Henry is that he’ll be one of the guys getting to haze the rookie in next year’s campaign.
