Ex-Missouri DL Harold Brantley transfers to Division II

A former SEC defensive lineman is set to take the field at the Division II level. On Wednesday, defensive lineman Harold Brantley announced he will be joining the Northwest Missouri State football program.

Because Brantley is transferring to the Division II level, he will be eligible to play immediately.

Northwest Missouri State is currently 2-0 on the season, with a Week 3 match up against Nebraska-Kearney this weekend.

It is unclear whether Brantley will suit up for the game in just a few days.

Brantley started 16 games throughout his first two seasons at Missouri. Unfortunately, his career was derailed in 2015 after he was forced to miss the entire season due to injuries suffered in a car accident. Earlier this year, Brantley announced he would be leaving Missouri due to academics.

Now, he’s ready to restart his career.
