In third quarter of their game, New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount helped extend his team’s lead over the Miami Dolphins to 31-3 with a nine-yard run. But it was what he did after the play that was pretty amazing.
Blount decided to celebrate with his team’s mascots that were waiting behind the endzone. The “patriots” decked out in full Revolutionary Era attire were more than happy to welcome in the running back for a quick picture.
It was amazing.

I am surprised he didn’t get flagged for a “choreographed celebration” for this, but it was still pretty amazing. Let’s hope Blount continues to get chances to do these kinds of thing this year.
Blount has 123 yards and a touchdown on the ground for the Patriots.
