Ole Miss football fans get trolled in new ‘SEC Short’ video

Ole Miss football fans famously tore down the goalpost following their win over the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2014. Last season, the Rebels extended their winning streak against Nick Saban’s team to two and they attempted to make it three in a row on Saturday afternoon.

Unfortunately for the Rebels faithful, Ole Miss blew a three touchdown lead and was eventually toppled by the Crimson Tide, 48-43.

Following the loss, Ole Miss fans became the butt of the joke for al.com’s latest “SEC Short.”

In this week’s edition of the parody video series, we see the famed goalpost return to Oxford before a group of fans learns the Rebels blew their lead and lost to Alabama. It is in that moment that the Rebels fans realize they must continue their quest of replacing the 2014 goalpost, at least for another few years.

Ole Miss returns to action this weekend against the Georgia Bulldogs.
