Alabama WR ArDarius Stewart questionable for Saturday

Last week, the Alabama Crimson Tide posted a huge comeback against the Ole Miss Rebels in Oxford. However, star wide receiver ArDarius Stewart was unable to finish the game.

In that win over the Rebels, Stewart went down with what appeared to be a knee injury. While not believed to be serious, Stewart has been listed as questionable as the Crimson Tide are wanting to keep him healthy for the tough slate of SEC games still to come.

Last week, Stewart was ineffective as he only recorded two yards on four catches before suffering his injury. But he has been more than useful for the Crimson Tide this year as he has recorded 205 yards, 113 of which came in the Week 1 blowout of USC, and three touchdowns on 13 receptions.

Keeping Stewart out this week may be the best move as the Crimson Tide begins a four-game SEC stretch next week starting with the Kentucky Wildcats. The stretch also includes back-to-back road games against Arkansas and Tennessee and is capped off by a home game against SEC West contender Texas A&M before the bye week, which is followed by a road trip to Baton Rouge.

The Crimson Tide take the field on Saturday in Bryant-Denny Stadium at 12 p.m. ET with the game being aired on SEC Network.
