Alabama football coach Nick Saban showed off his incredible heart with a sweet gesture for a player’s mom who was battling cancer.
This week, the mother of Eastern Illinois transfer Mike Bernier, who transferred to be closer to his ill mother and was given a preferred walk-on spot on the roster by Saban, celebrated her birthday.
While she was going through her gifts and cards, she received a special note from Saban himself.
Saban may always put on a tough face, but it’s great to see he really cares and appreciates every player who comes through his program and every member of their families.
