The LSU Tigers are looking to find a new head coach after firing 11-year coach Les Miles Sunday afternoon. While they haven’t announced any kind of list of candidates, it is pretty clear that a few names will be continuously linked to the job until a new head coach is named.
Bovada, one of the biggest sports betting books in Las Vegas, released their top ten coaches that have the best odds to land the LSU job. Headlining that list are the two coaches that were mentioned in the job hunt not hours after Miles was let go: Houston’s Tom Herman and Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher.
It is also worth mentioning that current interim LSU coach Ed Orgeron has the fifth-best odds to land the job, while former Baylor head coach Art Briles made an appearance on the list.
Bovada odds for next #LSU coach: Herman 5/4; Jimbo 3/1; Fedora 4/1; Taggart 6/1; Orgeron 9/1; Lane Kiffin 12/1… Petrino 18/1; Briles 28/1
