The Alabama football program is set to add another blue-chip recruit. On Sunday afternoon, five-star linebacker Dylan Moses announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Moses committed to Nick Saban’s program after spending the weekend on his official visit in Tuscaloosa.
“After talking to my parents, I’ve decided to shut my recruitment down,” Moses wrote on Twitter. “I will not be taking anymore visits. I want to thank every coach that offered me and took interest in me as a player/person.
“I have decided to commit to the University of Alabama! Roll Tide.”
Moses, a standout from IMG Academy in Florida, was previously committed to the LSU and many believed the Tigers were still the favorite. However, after the firing of Les Miles and the uncertainty surrounding the coaching position in Baton Rouge, it appears that Moses was ready to move on.
Moses is rated as the No. 1 outside linebacker and the No. 4 overall player in the country, according to 247 Sports.
