The Oklahoma Sooners rushing attack has taken a hit. On Monday, head coach Bob Stoops announced running back Samaje Perine will miss several weeks as he recovers from a hamstring injury.
Perine suffered the injury on a 25-yard touchdown run against Kansas State last weekend.

Oklahoma’s next three games are against Texas Tech, Kansas and Iowa State, so Stoops could decide not to rush Perine back before a difficult stretch against Baylor, West Virginia and Oklahoma State.
This season, Perine has rushed for 475 yards and six touchdowns.
