Bowling Green’s Scott Miller added to Biletnikoff Award watch list

Throughout the 2016 college football season, The Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc. has been adding players to the Biletnikoff Award watch list.

The latest edition comes following Week 8 of the season, as Bowling Green wide receiver Scott Miller received the nod.

The honor comes following Miller’s best performance of the season; an 11 catch, 178 yard, two touchdown day against Miami (OH). The week prior against Toledo, Miller fell short of 150 yards by one (8 catches for 149 yards and three touchdowns).

The 2016 Biletnikoff Award winner will be presented live on Dec. 8 on The Home Depot College Football Awards Show on ESPN.

The Biletnikoff Award is given out annually to the receiver in the nation, not just wide receivers. Any player, regardless of position (tight end, slot receiver and back, inside receiver, wide receiver, split end, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award.

Miller sits at 58 catches for 798 yards and nine touchdowns on the season.

The sophomore pass catcher is one of the most promising young wide receiver talents in the nation and it should be exciting to see how Miller continues to improve as he grows.

Miller and Bowling Green have the week off before returning to action on Tuesday, Nov. 1 on ESPNU.
