It has been an incredible senior year for Indiana Hoosiers midfielder Tanner Thompson.
This weekend, it got even better.
On Sunday afternoon, the No. 5 Hoosiers were taking on the No. 13 Michigan State Spartans at Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington. Tied in the final moments of the game, Thompson was able to nutmeg a Michigan State defender, dart across the box, create a moment of separation and drill a screamer that glanced off of the bar and into the back of the endzone.

Up next for Indiana is the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Men’s Soccer Tournament. The Hoosiers will host Northwestern on Nov. 6 at 1 p.m. ET.
