College football national championship odds: Alabama clear favorite

As the 2016 college football season winds down, we are beginning to get a clearer idea of who will earn their spot in the College Football Playoff. Of course, there is no certainty, but the oddsmakers are beginning to narrow down the field.

In the eyes of the sportsbooks, it comes as no surprise that the defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide are the overwhelming favorites to leave Tampa with the title.

Ohio State is being given respectable 5/2 odds, while Louisville is within striking distance at 15/2.

The biggest longshot still on the board is the Florida Gators, who have 75/1 odds to bring it all home.
